Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before moving your cargo with us.

Yes. Cargo from your suppliers in China arrives at Durban Port, where we clear it through customs. Our own trucks then carry it by road to Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi or anywhere in South Africa. We coordinate Bureau Veritas inspections where required and send WhatsApp updates at each milestone.
We combine cargo from multiple clients heading to the same destination into a single truck. Costs are split proportionally by volume (CBM) or weight — whichever is greater. You pay only for the space your cargo occupies, making it far more cost-effective than booking a dedicated truck for smaller loads.
Road transit times from Johannesburg: Zimbabwe 1–2 days, Botswana 1–2 days, Mozambique (Maputo) 2–3 days, Zambia 3–5 days, Malawi 4–6 days. Times include border clearance and may vary depending on border congestion, SARS inspections or document issues. We provide WhatsApp updates at each milestone.
Standard requirements include: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or waybill, certificate of origin, and Zimbabwe import licence if applicable. For certain goods (food, chemicals, electronics) additional permits or Bureau Veritas inspection certificates are required. Our team prepares and verifies all documentation before departure.
Yes, we carry classified hazardous goods provided the correct MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), ADR packaging, and relevant permits are supplied by the shipper. Hazardous loads attract a surcharge and must be declared upfront. Certain prohibited substances cannot be transported — contact us to confirm your specific cargo.
We send WhatsApp updates at key milestones: cargo collection, departure, border arrival, border clearance completion, and final delivery. For urgent or high-value shipments we can provide more frequent updates. A dedicated contact number is provided for every active shipment.
We accept consolidation cargo from as little as 1 pallet or 100kg. There is no strict minimum — if it fits in the truck alongside other cargo heading to the same destination, we can accommodate it. Full dedicated loads range from 10 to 30 tons depending on truck type.
Our Musina warehouse offers standard storage of up to 30 days. Longer-term storage is available by arrangement and billed monthly. The facility is secure and suitable for general merchandise — not temperature-controlled. We recommend short-term storage for goods awaiting border clearance or truck consolidation.
A Bureau Veritas pre-shipment inspection verifies quantity, quality, price and customs classification of goods before export. An accredited inspector physically examines and measures your cargo, then issues a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) required by certain destination countries including Zimbabwe. We coordinate the inspection appointment and submit documentation on your behalf.
